Born and raised in the Far North of New Zealand, Carla has been involved in netball for over 20 years. coaching across grassroots, high school, national age group, and schoolgirls’ international levels. She has spent the past seven years running her own club, TLT Netball, which now supports over 120 players.

 

From 2022 to 2024, Carla served as the Netball Waitākere Representative Convenor, a rewarding time during which her age group teams consistently placed in the top three nationally. Alongside raising four children, Carla has also worked in the performing arts sector over the last three years; balancing creativity and sport keeps Carlagrounded and energised.

 

Carla‘s coaching philosophy is simple: create an environment where players feel supported and can clearly see their growth—not just as athletes, but as people.

 

Carla is currently preparing for trials and will hold a Meet the Coach welcome session before the start of the new season.
