DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT INFORMATION \n\n\n\nYour respective team captain will collect $60 💵 from each of you on the day to cover umpire fees \n\n\n\nRundown \n\n\n\n\n⏰ 14:00 meet time\n\n\n\n🔗 14:15 rules briefing and etc\n\n\n\n🏑 14:30 GAMES WILL START SHARP\n\n\n\n🏆18:00/18:15 Awards and prize giving\n\n\n\n🍻🍔🥤19:00 onwards – COO Recovery feed at HKCC (see below for more detail)\n\n\n\n\nFixtures \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKey Rules \n\n\n\n\n6 Players on the pitch at a time\, GK optional (if playing with GK\, they should be fully kitted)\n\n\n\nIf there is no GK\, teams play with 6 outfield players (no kicking back allowed)\n\n\n\nMin 2 females on the pitch at all times\n\n\n\nMin 4 players on pitch to start the match – we’ll be running on a tight schedule so please beready\n\n\n\nCentral time keeping will be kept – please listen for horn\n\n\n\nSubs can be made at any time throughout the game\n\n\n\nGames will be 12 min one way with a 3 minute change over. Should we fall behind\, gameduration will be shortened\n\n\n\nFor safety reasons\, no hitting at all\, including tomahawks. Sweep (forehand &backhand) push\, overhead etc all allowed. Overheads can be received above shoulder\n\n\n\nFemale goals count for 2 goals during the game. Only 1 goal is counted for the Top GoalScorers list.\n\n\n\nANY potential goal stopped intentionally by players foot/body etc will result in a penaltygoal.\n\n\n\nWhere no GK is present\, ball has to hit the backboard in order for the goal to count. WhereGK is present\, net goals can be scored.\n\n\n\nScore from inside the yellow football box\n\n\n\nStandard HKHA & FIH hockey rules apply\, 3m rule instead of 5 m\n\n\n\nNo short corners will be played\, free hit outside the box – ball to travel 3m before enteringbox. Intentional ball out the back line will result in an uncontested shoot out from thehalfway line (No GK or defenders in goal)\n\n\n\n3 points for a win\, 2 points for a score draw\, 1 point for a goaless draw\, 0 points for a loss\n\n\n\nWhere points are tied\, GF will decide the higher finishing team. If still tied\, GA will be taken into account\n\n\n\nRound-Robin results may end in a tied result. Knockout ties will be resolved with anuncontested shoot out from the halfway line (No GK’s or defenders in goal). 3 players fromeach team. If still drawn after the 1st round\, sudden death shootout will apply.\n\n\n\nWe have arranged for umpirers to assist with the afternoon games. Teams may still at somepoint be required to assist with umpiring games – no umpiring qualification required\n\n\n\nUmpires decision is final – please be a good sport and just get on with it\n\n\n\nPLAY FAIR\, BE A GOOD SPORT AND HAVE FUN!\n\n\n\n\nAs per tradition\, its a fancy dress\, so get creative\, but make sure you can still pull off your moves on the pitch.Prize for the best dressed country! \n\n\n\nCHALLENGE. ACCEPTED \n\n\n\nCOO Recovery \n\n\n\n\n🚌- Bus to HKCC will leave from HKJC Museum (entrance to infield from Morrison Hill). We will start the crocodile of players to bus as soon as pack up is completed (~18:45). Space has been accounted for only those who signed up for the social event.\n\n\n\n🏊‍♀- access to pool and changing rooms/ shower will be available.
